Although there are not a lot of places to stay in Chamdo, there are several Chamdo hotels that do exist. Chamdo is less developed than other areas in Tibet. It is located on the far eastern border of Tibet. It borders neighboring China-its motherland.

Again, please note that it is wise to expect some difficulties or changes along the way. Be prepared for these challenges or differences that may arise. As mentoned before, don`t always base your decision on a hotel just because of the star rating. These ratings are only a guideline and often don`t reflect the true nature of the hotel as it may in a western country. Please contact the hotels if there are any questions or want to double check the information provided here. This will ensure a safe and comfortable stay.
