Basic information & facts
Launched in 2002, Norwegian Dawn is the third ship of its class, but there are many differences between her and her sister ships, mostly because NCL decided to modify the ship to make it better basing on the previous experiences with her predecessors. This cruise ship constructed by NCL is quite large, with 92,250 tons of tonnage, the length of 965 ft. and 15 passengers’ decks. She can accommodate up to 2,240 passengers.
Dining
Norwegian Dawn has ten restaurants – a lot even for a ship this size. Due to their number and the fact that there are no assigned seats, dining is a marvelous experience. The only limitation is the fact that you have to be seated for a dinner before 10.30 pm (a drawback for South Europeans, but not for Americans). The service is exquisite, partially due to its professionalism and partially due to the fact that waiters don’t have to attend 1,000 passengers at the same time.
Cabins
The cabins are all-high quality with excellent interior design (though the bright colors might become tiresome after some time). All cabins are equipped with TV, a mini-fridge and (a nice touch), a coffee-maker. The only problem is the lack of 110-volt plug near the desk – ask your steward for an adapter. One word of warning: the beds aboard NCL Dawn are rock-hard!
Norwegian Dawn features a lot of entertainments, from production shows to live music concerts, but it’s the art auctions you must not miss. The feeling during an auction is beyond words – you have to try it. Just make sure you won’t spend everything for a single item, never mind how interesting.

The ship’s itinerary covers most Atlantic destinations. Norwegian Dawn cruises can take you to the Caribbean and Bahamas as well as to New England.
