Seabourn Legend is the youngest of the three ships owned by the Yachts of Seabourn. Together with “Seabourn Spirit” and “Seabourn Pride” she offers one of the best services available as well as various types of entertainment. This Seabourn cruise ship can be considered as a great ship, despite her small size.
Basic information & facts
All ships of the Yachts of Seabourn family are almost the same when speaking about their construction. Seabourn Legend has 10,000 tons of tonnage, is 440 feet long, and can accept up to 208 passengers, so she offers a truly intimate journey. Although she was completed in 1992, 8 years later she was refurbished to apply to the highest standards. Worth of mention is the fact that her small tonnage and size allows to visit almost all famous marines, sometimes unapproachable for bigger ships.
Dining
On the Seabourn Legend, passengers have an opportunity to enjoy one of the best cuisines in the world, designed by the famous chef- restaurateur Charlie Palmer. There are over 200 recipes which can’t be found anywhere else and when we add the possibility of enjoying them when and with whom we feel like, due to open seating dining policy, the lack of artworks or partitions is not a handicap. It rather helps to appreciate the dinner. For those passengers who do not want to miss all beautiful views during their journey, the best choice is Veranda Cafe.
Cabins
All cabins on the Legend are of considerable size of 277 square ft. and have either small balconies or large windows which make them even more spacious. Furnishing is very elegant and functional, especially compared to other cruise ships, with walk-in closet, comfortable beds and beautiful cocktail tables. When we add to this a large bathroom with marble bath and such features as TV/VCR, personalized stationary, designer soaps, toiletries and a daily newspaper, this accommodations surely can satisfy even the most particular guests.
Not-to-be-missed
All Yachts of Seabourn ships offer unique fold-out sport marine facility which allows you to swim directly in the ocean when the weather is good enough. There are also sailboats windsurfers, and pedal boats for these guests who prefer active recreation and want to fully exercise their sailing skills. For those people who do not dare to enjoy such possibilities, Seabourn offers full Spa services like Algae detox or LT Oxygen Lifting Facial.
Where does she go?
This ship’s standard routes are the Mediterranean sea and the Central America and Panama Canal, although Seabourn Legend can be also seen in the Caribbean and other interesting places. Trans-Atlantic trips are also available.
